At Papillon Yoga, we’ve always believed that wellness is about connection—connection to yourself, to others, and to the joyful moments that make life vibrant. So, you can imagine our delight when one of our most unique community offerings was recognized as a highlight of the city’s cultural calendar.
We are thrilled to share that our Dog Yoga (“Doga”) Class was recently featured in the South China Morning Post (SCMP) roundup of the “5 best things to do in Hong Kong” for the Easter weekend. It is a true honour to be listed among such special events, affirming our mission to create accessible and memorable wellness experiences for everyone in Hong Kong—on two legs or four.
More Than a Trend: The Heart Behind Our Dog Yoga
Being featured is wonderful, but the real magic happens on the mat. Our Doga sessions are built on a simple, powerful idea: wellness is better shared.
These classes are designed as a bonding experience. Human participants practice gentle, accessible yoga stretches and mindfulness exercises with their dogs, incorporating playful touches, supportive cuddles, and mutual calm. It’s less about perfect poses and more about fostering patience, presence, and unconditional love. We’re also proud to often partner with local animal welfare volunteers, using our platform to promote adoption and the profound therapeutic benefits of the human-animal bond.
A Glimpse into the Class: What Makes It Special
For Humans: A gentle, all-levels yoga flow focused on releasing tension, with your dog as your playful, living prop.
For Dogs: A stimulating and calming environment to practice obedience, receive gentle massage, and simply enjoy quality time.
For Everyone: An unforgettable hour of laughter, lowered stress hormones, and strengthened connection. The sight of a room full of people and their canine companions finally settling into a collective, peaceful Savasana is pure joy.
Join Our “Flutter” of Unique Experiences
The Doga class is just one example of what we mean by “The Papillon Flutter.” It’s our name for the vibrant, growing community that gathers not just for traditional yoga, but for shared experiences that nourish the soul in different ways.
From our heart-pumping ChillRun & Ice Bath mornings to the soaring freedom of Aerial Yoga workshops, we are committed to creating a diverse calendar of events that invites everyone to find their version of wellness.
